About Richard

I am a retired Aerospace Engineer who is very much interested in helping students gain a better understanding of Math and Science. I emigrated to the US from England to be a part of the "Space Race" and the Apollo program. My work in simulating missiles and rockets has involved much math, dynamics and physics in generating computer code for understanding new concepts. I have helped my two sons becoming successful engineers and I enjoy explaining scientific ides to people who are not necessarily scientifically orientated. I have been a math and physics tutor at Lee High School in Huntsville and also taught reading to second graders at Whitesburg Middle School I try to explain the basic idea and the reasoning required to answer complex subjects
