About Kimberly

I'm passionate about helping students because I love to see how my students grow while I tutor them. I have a BA in English with a minor in History with several years of experience of peer-to-peer and student-teacher/tutor in English, History, and ESL tutoring. I specialize in executive functioning skills, helping students edit and revise essays/papers, English and History test prep, homework help, and other items related to these areas. My teaching philosophy is based on forming relationships with my students and fostering an environment where students can not only grow academically but personally. I want my students to feel comfortable to be themselves and I am committed to fostering a safe space for cultivating knowledge.
