I have a B.A. Ed. and an M.A. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Language Arts ages 11-15. I taught 6th and 7th grade English for 15 years. I have advanced training in reading intervention, Orton-Gillingham, gifted education, and executive functioning.
For the last two years, I have tutored several students. I've loved working with individual students and helping them succeed with their goals. For instance, this year I helped one student move from failing multiple courses to finishing the school year with all As.
Also, this hourly rate includes unlimited Google docs paper editing.
In Memphis, I can meet students at the main branch of the Memphis Public Library, 3030 Poplar. I also tutor online.
